About Me

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My work as therapist stems from my own infertility journey, which was isolating, stressful, and filled with uncertainty. I found meaning in my experience by helping others. In 2016, I founded a RESOLVE peer-led support group in San Francisco, which I led for 5 years and helped hundreds of women across all stages of the infertility journey. I felt deep fulfillment in this experience and eventually felt called to change careers. While reproductive counseling is my speciality area, I equally enjoy working with clients on other topics. In fact, I find that infertility is often a gateway into therapy and many unrelated, yet important topics come into light. During my training, I also discovered my interest in couples counseling, which is my other speciality area.

I earned my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in brand marketing and sales at consumer product companies. I earned a Master’s of Business Administration from the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and a Bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University.

“Life as a therapist is a life of service in which we daily transcend our personal wishes and turn our gaze toward the needs and growth of the other. We take pleasure not only in the growth of our patient but also in the ripple effect—the salutary influence our patients have upon those whom they touch in life.”

- Irvin Yalom, The Gift of Therapy
